Welcome to Stepping Stones, a wonderful group designed for babies with Down Syndrome aged 6-18 months, along with their loving parents or caregivers. Led by our caring Occupational Therapists and Speech and Language Therapists, this group offers early interaction and development strategies that are tailored to your baby's needs.

We understand the importance of early support and interaction, and our therapists are here to guide you and your baby through this crucial stage of development. Moreover, Stepping Stones provides an amazing opportunity for families to come together, share experiences, and create meaningful connections.

Special Kids Intervention Programme (SKIP)

Introducing SKIP, our Early Intervention Programme designed to nurture your child's all-round development. Through SKIP, we focus on key areas that lay the foundation for success in their growth journey.

Baby Massage & Physio

Baby Massage is a very special art of using nurturing touch through a specifically designed series of strokes.
Early paediatric physiotherapy for children with Down syndrome can help with the acquisition of motor skills and develop strength to help maximise motor function.

The Down Syndrome Centre is compliant with all regulatory requirements for care of children, clinical practice, teaching and governance.

Memberships include: Down Syndrome International, the Wheel and the Charities Institute Ireland, from whom we have Triple-Lock status for fundraising, governance and financial management.

We are registered with the Charities Regulator to whom we submit our annual report.
