A legacy is when you leave a gift of money or goods in your will to a charitable cause.
Leaving us a gift in your will, will help children with Down syndrome get the professional services they need to reach their full potential. See the range of services your gift could pay for here.
Leaving a legacy is easy. If you already have a will, then a simple codicil which updates it can be created. If you do not have a will, then including a legacy as a provision is equally straight-forward. Be sure our correct charity name, address and Registered Charity Number (20055158) is used.
The value of what you leave can be great or small and is tax exempt, which reduces the amount of tax payable on your estate. You can leave money, shares, goods or property. It all counts. No matter the size of the gift, it will be hugely appreciated and be a life-time benefit to children with Down syndrome.
